The unknown can be a scary place. Booking a photo session without knowing just what type of environment you will be stepping into can trigger anxiety for some. The sighs of relief coming from our clients when they arrive to our photo studio is evidence of this. Our photo studio is a very important tool, it sets the tone for how our clients will feel during their photo session.

A short story about our photo studio
We had already been in business 5 years before we opened our 1st photo studio in 2014. Located in downtown Mount Vernon, we quickly established ourselves as the premiere photography studio in Westchester New York. Clients were traveling from as far as downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and southern Connecticut to our store front studio. To keep it short, we expanded our services and eventually out grew the Mount Vernon Photo Studio (great problem to have).
We moved from Mount Vernon and opened the new photo studio in New Rochelle on January 1st 2025! Now a bigger space with beautiful sunlight coming through 5 large windows. Just as before we offer a myriad of services such as: family portraits, maternity portraits, newborn portraits, cake smash sessions, headshot sessions, adult birthday sessions, sweet sixteen sessions and many more.

What are the benefits of booking a session at a photo studio?
To be honest I (Claudio), didn’t fully understand what benefits would come from opening a photo studio, both for my business and for our current and future clients. Anyone with an established photography studio with some level of success will tell you, you aren’t only in the photography business, you are now in the hospitality business as well. Yea thats right, you should treat your studio as a high end hotel, offering as many amenities as you can. For us thats the fun part, figuring out what little things we can do around the studio to enhance our clients experience. After many years we have accumulated so many innovations within our space that we could write a book. But I have a short list of some of our favorites.
We collect toys everywhere we can. Why? We have a well stocked toy chest, specifically with toys from the 90’s and 2000’s to keep our young clients entertained between shots. Returning kids never forget and instantly run to the toy chest when they arrive. I love this!
We are DJ’s too! not really but we play really good music. We literally have curated music playlists for a variety of people. Clean modern pop music to increase the energy during family portraits, an edgy playlist for adults who need that boost of confidence and the delusion that they belong on the cover of every magazine. A beautiful serine playlist for the tenderness needed to capture a maternity client. You have made our day when at some point during the session we hear “nice playlist!” ❤️.
Water bottles, free wifi, couches, changing areas, outfits for maternity and newborn clients, an 80’s Nintendo system hooked up to a television of the same era ready for game play by the time you arrive. These are just a few of the amenities we offer to make your photo studio visit just that much more special.
Booking a photo studio session can be very relieving. We want you to be yourself, to be comfortable. This will help us further in capturing those priceless moments happening in front of our lenses. Both me and my wife are great with kids (having had 2 of our own). You cant really run a successful family portrait studio with out being a kid whisperer. That being said, let us focus on the running kids, just be ready to catch them as they run towards you for a magical snapshot of what it means to be a parent.

This photo studio is cool!
Although it’s been 12 years now of hosting clients in our photo studio’s, I still cant help but to pinch my self. It is a privilege to have such a creative space, a sort of a blank canvas we can create in. This studio is our 2nd home and we treat it as such. We honor our guests and pride our selves on the feeling we leave clients with when they leave. Clients enter nervous and exit exhilarated.
