When should I take my maternity photos?
/9 months sounds like alot of time. You’ll want to schedule the session at just the right time.
So here you are, one of the most magical things has happened. You are pregnant! Congratulations! After the announcements to friends and family things settle down just a bit. You may start thinking about a possible baby shower and maybe even possibly a maternity session. You remember just how beautiful your girlfriends maternity photos were. You have decided, “I want a maternity session” but when is the right time?
Here’s a couple of factors to consider: Are you having a baby shower? You might want to consider this if you or your coordinator might want prints or digital images for the event (This is of course assuming you know about the baby shower. In the case you found out, just act surprised 😉). When should you book and when should you schedule?
When should I BOOK my maternity session?
When booking your professional maternity photographer, you’ll want to contact us at your 2nd trimester (about 4 months). When you reach out to us we will run down all our packages, everything included and answer any questions you may have. Scheduling comes next.
When should I SCHEDULE my maternity session?
We recommend scheduling your professional maternity session between 6-8 months. At this point your baby bump is beautifully round and prominent. But look, we’ve had mothers to be book us during their 9th month! One even gave birth the day after her session was done! Geez!
What should I expect at my Maternity Photo Session
At RealDepthOfField Photography we pride ourselves on the attention to detail we give our clients. You’ll meet the husband and wife duo (Claudio & Merline “nice to meet you”) with over 15 years of experience in Maternity Photography and Newborn Photography. You’ll be welcomed into our spacious, multifaceted photo studio located in the heart of Downtown New Rochelle, New York. If you want us to come to you or capture you on location, thats possible too. During your session you’ll have the entire studio to your self, access to our maternity wardrobe, use of a variety of props and more. We are known for the comfort we create in our studio environment, with mood setting music and directions for the poses that work with your body type.
